The Dark CastleWithin these walls, the darkness calls.
A castle's time unknown.
The ghost's of past, awake at last.
Their stories to be told.
A light anew, the new master's brew.
The dark castle lives again
A place to come, to have some fun.
The castle's doors are open.
In This CellIn this cell, my mind it dwells on past transgressions I have made
In this cell, my eyes they well for my life that could have been
In this cell, my crimes retell the who, the what, the when
In this cell, I hear death's bell as my life begins to fade
The Prison GuardA sentence of life, I spend it in strife, eight hours at a time
Away from my loved ones, away from my wife, and I committed no crime
The life of a guard, spent in a prison yard, everyday I risk all that I can
At the days end, the sad part my friend, I trust the convicts more than the man
Story of a Night ElfGreetings,
My given name is Vyper FangStrike, but most people just call me Vyp. I am a Night Elf Warrior originally from Shadowglen. My story is like so many other stories in the world today, but it is also different, because it is my individual story. I hope that everyone who reads this will enjoy the stories I will tell, because I would hate to think that my life is boring, or uninspiring. I will now start with the story, and once again I hope that everyone will enjoy.
I was born in the Shadowglen area of Teldrassil, I was raised there, and never really had the chance to do much travelling as a young Night Elf. Occasionally my father would take me to Dolanaar when he had business there, but those trips were not often, and would stop completely when my father was killed by a beast of the forest. I always blamed myself for his death, because it just so happened that I was on the particular trip when he was attacked. I tried to help, but was too young to do anything. This wou
Story of a Night Elf 8Story of a Night Elf 8
For a short time period everything returned to normal. I did my warrior jobs, Vynom ran her healing practice, and we were both happy. I was no longer within the favor of the town elders, and they made it known throughout Dolanaar. I thought that this would make our life hard, but it did not. I had built up a good reputation with the townspeople through all of the quests that I had done for them. Vynom had built up an even better reputation from her healing of their many ailments. We could have a good life in Dolanaar, with or without the support of the town elders.
I soon came to realize that even though the town elders were not favorable of myself and my ways, it did not mean that they would still not try to use me to do whatever they needed to have done. One day I was once again approached by the messenger of the town elders as I entered Dolanaar, "The elders have summoned you once again, Vyper," she s
Story of a Night Elf 5Our days we're filled with exploration, and our nights were spent exploring our physical love for each other.
Our days would range from spending time on the beach outside our cottage, to exploring the forests that were just a bit deeper inland. From the forests we would go into the mountains, and beyond them we would go to the land that now teeming with the memory of our ancestors, we did not threaten their rest, and they did not threaten our exploration. One day we even used our full day to explore as far as Astranaar. We decided that one day we would retire to this area. The surrounding lands were just filled with so much awe inspiring beauty.
Our nights were spent exploring another type of beauty, the beauty of our love, and it's psychical manifestation. We spent time together in every place in the cottage that we could think of, the bed and the hot tub being our two favorite places indoors. I even managed to get Vynom to come explore or physical love for each other outside. We spen
Story of a Night Elf 4The next day we got out of bed really early, not that we had really slept that much anyway ! The first place that we went to was to her family hut in the medical compound of our little village. From there the day long celebration just seemed to sweep us all over the small village. From her family hut, to my mothers small hut, from my mother's hut to extended family huts, from these huts into the general population of the medical compound area, and finally out into the town as a whole. News spread quickly, and everybody wanted to celebrate with us.
The next days, and weeks were spent in a great planning session for everybody in our village. We had decided to have our actually wedding in the village, and this was unusual as most couple opted to have their ceremonies in one of the bigger towns or cities of the area. This meant that our wedding would be one of the bigger celebrations that our little village had seen in awhile. While we had meant it to be a small ceremony, very soon everybo
Damien's Time - The Great Battle 4 When Lucifer, once again, regained consciousness, he just sat where he was with his eyes closed as he let his mind and body realize what was happening around him. His back, and his head, were both in massive amounts of pain. He knew his back was in pain from being stabbed in the back by someone he had considered a friend, Michael. He guessed that his head was in pain from sustaining another blow when he fell to the ground from the stabbing. He hoped that Venus never found out about this latest injury to his head. He could also tell that he was not in his own camp this time. The voices were not of his supporters, but of those he knew to be supporting Jehovah. From the conversations that he could hear, it was not going good for their side in the battle. Jehovah had very few supporters left, and they were once again about to be overtaken by forces led by Mars. Lucifer would use this knowledge to his advantage and try to negotiate a surrender with them.
Damien's Time - The Great Battle 3 As Lucifer walked out onto the battlefield, he immediately saw that things were indeed going very well for his supporters. Everywhere that he saw individual skirmishes happening, his supporters seemed to be overcoming the best efforts of Jehovah's remaining supporters. As he watched, supporters of Jehovah would lose their individual skirmishes, and would then quietly leave the battlefield. At the rate things were going, Jehovah would soon have to surrender due to lack of support. Lucifer was glad to see this. The one thing at Lucifer could not see, no matter how long he looked, was Jehovah himself. Lucifer decided that he would have to find Mars, and get an official report of what was happening within the field of battle. If Jehovah truly could not be found, this battle needed to end.
Mars saw Lucifer, and called out to him as he approached, "Glad to see that your finally up and around," he said, "you had some of us
Damien's Time - The Great Battle 5 Lucifer laughed as he heard what Jehovah said, "Victory ?" he asked , "You claim that you are close to victory when your supporters abandon you, and Mars is close to capturing you ? How do you expect to claim victory when everything is going against you ?"
"That is quite simple," answered a very smug sounding Jehovah, "you see, it does not matter what my supporters are doing, and it does not matter what your troops are doing. I am about to claim victory, because you are about to offer me your full surrender."
Lucifer laughed even louder at Jehovah's latest response, " I think that you are beginning to lose your mind due to the stress of the battle, my old friend. Why exactly would I surrender to you when I am about to witness your defeat first hand ?"
"It's quite simple really," responded Jehovah, "I, unlike you, don't really care about the well being of this planet.
Damien's Time - Complete Surrender 2 "What is that you just said ?" Jehovah asked with an evil smile. "You say that you will do whatever I want as long as I stop the carnage below ? I guess that is good enough for me. Uranus ! Stop the destruction of the Earth ! Lucifer has given us his complete surrender !"
Uranus finally came out of his trance for the first time since he had started to pull the Earth's moon towards the battle below. Uranus did not really seem to want to stop doing what he was doing, but he also seemed to have complete faith in Jehovah, so he did what he was told. Uranus had been brought to the point of complete exhaustion while drawing the two planetary bodies into one another, but he still had enough energy to sneer at Lucifer as his mission was coming to a close. "I told you that I would have my revenge, and now I have," he said to Lucifer, "Now I hope that Jehovah will show you no mercy when you negotiate your surrender to him."
Damien's Time - Last Chance Mars went to Venus and told her the same story that he had told Gaea. Venus felt for the people on the planet of Mars just as much as Gaea had previously. Venus let Mars know that she was willing to help him, and his civilization, with the problem that they now faced. Mars became very excited upon being told this information, but Venus had to calm him down very quickly. Venus felt as if it were not her decision alone to make on if her planet would accept the refugees from the planet of Mars. Venus felt as if the people that lived on her planet would be effected more by the refugees moving to the planet that she would, so she would leave it up to those very people. Venus let Mars know that she would let the people of her planet know her personal feelings on the subject, and then let them vote on if the refugees should be allowed to move to the planet. She felt as if her people would allow the Martian people to seek refuge on their world, but she could not g
Damien's Time - The Blood Lust Rages Lilith woke up in a cold sweat, the blood lust was raging inside of her, and she needed to do something to quench it right away. She quickly went towards where she had left her supply of meat, but stopped before she came to it. It was gone ! All of the deer meat that she had brought with her was gone ! In the place where the meat had been were several sets of fresh tracks, and a scent that she had smelled recently. It was the scent of wolves, just like she had smelled in her dream. So the scent had not just been in her dream, she had actually been smelling it in real life. Lilith could still smell the path the wolves had left by, and thought that she could follow it to gain revenge against the wolves, but decided that it would probably take too much time to do so. Right now Lilith needed to make a fresh kill, she needed to find a way to feed the blood lust.
Lilith was still aware enough of her situation to come to o
Damien's Time - The Great Battle 2 Just when it looked like Lucifer had lost all hope at retaining control over the Earth, he heard a massive cry arise from over the horizon. There was a hesitation from the the people who were beating him, and then some of them ran off in the direction of where the cry had arisen. He did not know what was going on, but he was just appreciative of the fact that the beating he was taking was not as severe as it had been. Lucifer heard what he thought was fighting taking place all around him now, but he still could not see what was going on. It was then that he heard another cry sound out, and this one was much closer to him than the first had been. The remaining people that were beating him scattered, but Lucifer still would not see anything at this time. Lucifer would pass out before seeing anything at all.
When Lucifer regained consciousness, he could feel that he was being carried. He looked up at the one who was carrying him,
Damien's Time - The Great Battle 1 While Mars was gaining support for the cause of Lucifer, Lucifer was going to have a one on one confrontation with Jehovah. When he finally found where Jehovah was at, he immediately saw that he would never get to have the one on one meeting that he wanted. Jehovah already had his massive group of supporters gathered, and he was directing them from a great podium that was erected in front of all of them. Lucifer now regretted the decision he had made to confront Jehovah by himself, and he decided that it would now be smart to go back to Mars and gather those supporters that they had previously discussed. He tried to sneak away without being seen by anyone within the crowd, but Jehovah himself would actually spot him from his podium perch.
"Is that Lucifer that I see sneaking away through the crowd like the coward that he is ?" asked Jehovah from the top of his podium. "Why yes it, is ! Did you come to see what lies ahead of yo
Damien's Time - Recognition Jehovah was overjoyed by the level of success his attempt at creating perfection had achieved. He had taken imperfect plants, imperfect animals, and imperfect humans, gathered them all together, and from this perfection had been born. The garden that he had placed them in, was the only place on the whole of the Earth that even came close to being able to be called perfect. Jehovah now wanted his recognition from the other great creators. He not only wanted them to recognize that his creation was equal to theirs, he now now wanted them to recognize that his creation was better than theirs. They had created imperfect beings, and Jehovah had created perfection from that imperfection He would get the recognition from them that he deserved !
It was with this thought of receiving his due recognition that led to Jehovah searching out Lucifer, it was Lucifer's planet after all, so he deserved to know that perfection had been created u
SolaceShe never slept well in the dark,
not without the children of the sun and moon
to guide her weary lids home.
Guided by the aftermath, she was always two steps behind.
What did the world look like to the girl who had been through it all?
Braved the heaviest of storms,
yet skipping over cracks in the pavement.
They said her eyes were the wisps of clouds before the storm.
To him they were reflections of pages overlooked.
She said it was like she lived the life of someone she had never met.
Laid out to dry, yesterdays news.
He knew her as the girl who was built to never collapse.
He wished he was too.
He loved her more than words could say, and yet her pain was such,
that at times, he feared she wouldn’t make it.
But on nights like these, even when it threatened to consume her,
he became convinced that somehow she would.
